Independent specialist GP · Morley
Considered care, taken seriously.
Dr Amir Waly runs an independent specialist general practice, providing consultancy services to medical centres and urgent care clinics, national telehealth services such as Healthdirect, on-site care to residents of selected residential aged-care facilities, advisory roles with medical technology startups, and involvement in Level 3 supervision of International Medical Graduates — unhurried, evidence-based, and built around the long-term relationship between doctor and patient.

Principles of the practice
Continuity, complexity, communication.
A general practice that takes the time to think. Each consultation is built around the same three commitments — in long-term care, in difficult cases, and in everything written down for you and your treating team.
- 01 Continuity
A lasting clinical relationship.
Long-term general practice for adults and families — preventive health, chronic disease management, and the small problems that turn out to matter.
- 02 Complexity
Time for the difficult problems.
Specialist-level consultations with the depth required for multi-morbidity, polypharmacy, undifferentiated presentations, and considered second opinions.
- 03 Communication
Clear plans, on paper.
Plain-language explanations, written care plans, and timely correspondence back to the referring practitioner.
Areas of practice
Two focused services within the practice.
Alongside general practice consultations, Dr Waly offers two further areas of clinical interest. Each has its own dedicated information page, including what to expect, important information, and how to book.

About laser medicineAbout the practice
A consultant’s approach — for your family.
Dr Waly runs his own independent specialist GP practice. He sees patients with complex, chronic, or undifferentiated presentations — and coordinates investigations, referrals, and follow-up with the broader care team.
Every consultation begins with listening. From there, the work is to think carefully, explain clearly, and put a plan on paper that patients — and their other treating clinicians — can act on.
